Hey!

UPDATE: Eeeep! Alex won the match *throws confetti* so here's the scene Jennifer L. Armentrout promised:

Maybe you didn't believe me las week when I mentioned I became a huge fan of Jennifer L. Armentrout. Well, today I'm here to show my support for Alex, the heroine of her Covenant series,  in the YA Heroines Tourney and also to ask for your help. ;) But first things first:

In case you don't know what I'm talking about, here is the official synopsis for the first book in the Covenant series:

The Hematoi descend from the unions of gods and mortals, and the children of two Hematoi-pure-bloods-have godlike powers. Children of Hematoi and mortals-well, not so much. Half-bloods only have two options: become trained Sentinels who hunt and kill daimons or become servants in the homes of the pures.Seventeen-year-old Alexandria would rather risk her life fighting than waste it scrubbing toilets, but she may end up slumming it anyway. There are several rules that students at the Covenant must follow. Alex has problems with them all, but especially rule #1:Relationships between pures and halfs are forbidden.Unfortunately, she's crushing hard on the totally hot pure-blood Aiden. But falling for Aiden isn't her biggest problem--staying alive long enough to graduate the Covenant and become a Sentinel is. If she fails in her duty, she faces a future worse than death or slavery: being turned into a daimon, and being hunted by Aiden. And that would kind of suck.

Daimon (Covenant 0.5) - Published May 10th 2011 by Spencer Hill Press (Free Prequel Novella)
Half-Blood (Covenant #1) - Published October 18th 2011 by Spencer Hill Press
Pure (Covenant #2) - Release Date: April 3rd 2012 by Spencer Hill Press

Now, maybe you've heard about the Tournament of Heroines hosted by the YA Sisterhood. Well, in today's match, Alex is up against Nora from Becca Fitzpatrick's Hush, Hush series. I love Nora, but Alex is super cool and kickass and I really, really, want  for her to win this match and go on in the tourney! So all I'm asking is to vote for her! If I'm not that convincing, check out today's post for this match, Alex's advocate did an amazing job in telling us why Alex should win! Or visit her blog, she's got plenty of cool info there too. ;)

*jumps up and down in excitement*

To show us their gratitude for our support, Spencer Hill Press and Jennifer L Armentrout have given us permission to reveal the cover for the third book in the series, Deity, 5 months early! Here it is:

Deity (Covenant #3) - Release Date: November 2012

WOW! I love all the covers in this series, but this one is seriously HOT! <3

And last, but definitely not least, if Alex wins this first match, Jennifer will post an extra scene between Alex and Aiden, that happens between Half-Blood and Pure. A steamy scene.;) *gasp!* So, GO VOTE ALEX and spread the word! #VoteAlex and #HalfBloodLegion on Twitter ;)
