Spotted! New cover

Hi again!:)

I just spotted the new UK cover of the next book in one of my favorite vamp series ever and I had to share it! *squee!*
So here it is - the UK cover for Last Breath - The Morganville Vampires #11 by Rachel Caine (out in November 2011)

 

Green is one of my favorite colors, so I really like the font, the effects... And wow, the model's eyes! So pretty and... hypnotic!:)) I really like it! But that's just me - what do you guys think?

US COVER

 I've always preferred the UK covers. I can't wait to have this one on my shelf!

P.S. Bite Club - The Morganville Vampires #10 - comes out on My 3rd. And apparently in UK it's already available in bookstores. :)

Romanian Bookish Love (#2)

Hey everyone!

How's your Sunday ?:)
For me, it's been a busy, but nice day, and it's time to catch up with the book blogging world.

So, as I said in my last WoW post, this week I want to show you the Romanian covers of another favorite series of mine, The Morganville Vampires by Rachel Caine. This series came out at LEDA (which is another great Romanian publishing house that I'm harassing with my book requests.:))). We've only got 3 books in the series so far and the 4th is about to come out next month, but I didn't want you to miss them. So...

I love the UK covers! (and of course, that's the edition of the series I have). Although I think I like better the Romanian covers for book 2 and 3 and the US ones for book 7 and 8.
But what do you guys think about our covers? Which ones do you prefer?:D

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

 And my picks this week:

 I think I've mentioned this before: when it comes to long, great series, I prefer to wait for more books of the series to come out and to read them one after another. I'm not a big fan of cliffhangers and it also makes it easier for me to keep up with the story and connect with the characters. And now I can't wait for the release of Bite Club, because I'm dying to see what happens next and I need to catch up with this series already! I still have to read the previous three books - so four Morganville Vampires books for me in May, woo hoo!:))
Oh, and I've also spotted the cover for the 11th The Morganville Vampires book, Last Breath, which will come out  in November. November!!! *dies* This cover is a little different (wow, it's so bright!LOL), but I still prefer the UK ones. And I'll show you our Romanian covers later this week. ;) So what do you think?

*C.C. Hunter, author of Born at Midnight (book I featured a few weeks ago), released a short story, Turned at Dark, along with the first three chapters of Born at Midnight. So if you are as excited as I am for the book, check THIS out! *Don't forget to check back here tomorrow, I'll have my first giveaway and you can win one of the books I mentioned today (among others, of course)!
