In My Mailbox (12)... Sort of.

Hey!

hosted by Kristi @ The Story Siren

I haven't posted about the books I got in the mail in what feels like forever, from various reasons (one of them being that after the events from last winter and my moving around a lot this year, I had to stop buying physical books at some point and I only got a few kindle and audiobooks from time to time for a while). I'm slowly catching up with my wishlist and TBR lists now. :)

These are just a few books I got in the past couple of weeks or so. But I update my facebook page daily, and I add there all the books I buy or receive for review as I get them. As I've read - and loved - lots of indie and New Adult books lately, I've become addicted to Amazon (this click-buy-read thingy is really dangerous LOL) and got a lot of kindle books. (My TBR pile)

Ok, I'm rambling already. So here goes:
*links send to Goodreads

My favorite book and the best thing I received in the mail this year so far:♥

My Review. It's only 3$ or so on Amazon Kindle, if you haven't read it already

And for review...

That's it for now. Well, at least that's what I'm planning on reading in the near future.

What did you get in your mailbox?
*I know there are various forms of this feature around the blogosphere, but I'll stick with TSS's for now. Feel free to leave a link to your book haul. ;)

Have a nice Sunday!

In My Mailbox #11: The 'There's No Such Thing As Too Many Books' Edition

Hey!

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi @ The Story Siren and inspired by Alea @ Pop Culture Junkie, where we share the books we got in the mail the previous week(s).

I got all these books last week, so I'm on a book buying ban now (well, at least until Christmas).

Sorry about the quality of the pics, my phone is not that fancy dandy :P

From the Gaudeamus Book Fair I got:

✓ Clockwork Angel (The Infernal Devices #1) by Cassandra Clare
(that would be the Romanian edition; I read the book last year and I loved it, so I needed a new hardcover copy for my collection)
✓ Matched by Ally Condie (Legaminte)
✓ Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver (O zi din sapte)

From The Book Depository:

They are GORGEOUS! And some of the best books I got this year!♥ There was a lot of squealing, jumping up and down around the room and book petting involved when they arrived :D

From the used bookstore:

✓ Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead (I already read this series, it's one of my favorites, but I needed the Romanian hardcovers for my collection... I only found 4 books though. Thanks Cristina @ Bibliophile Mystery for book #6!)
✓ The Darkest Powers Trilogy by Kelley Armstrong
(Again, just for my Romanian books collection)
✓ Dead Until Dark (Sookie Stackhouse #1) by Charlaine Harris
I got this one because I'm probably the only paranormal / supernatural books/TV shows lover who's not a fan of True Blood and hasn't read any of the books in the series. So I want to see what's all the fuss about. :D

From authors for review:

✓ Untraceable by S.R. Johannes
✓ Brightest Kind of Darkness (Brightest Kind of Darkness #1) by P.T. Michelle
✓ Sleepers (The Swarm #1) by Megg Jensen
(this is not the final cover, but until the new one is revealed, this will do :P)
✓ Hellsbane (Hellsbane #1) by Paige Cuccaro

Thank you all!

What did you get in your mailbox?

Happy reading!

In My Mailbox #11

Hey!

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi @ The Story Siren and inspired by Alea @ Pop Culture Junkie, where we share the books we got in the mail the previous week(s).

Here's what I got in the past couple of weeks:
*Links send to Goodreads

The Shadow Reader (McKenzie Lewis #1) - by Sandy Williams
*I'm currently reading this one and it's super awesome! I'm very picky when it comes to Fae/ faery books (thank you, Fever series) but this one is actually very good!

Flesh and Blood (House of Comarré #2) by Kristen Painter
*I got the first book in the series, Blood Rights from NetGalley a few weeks ago and I loved it (review to come soon). So of course I had to get the second book as soon as it came out! It wasn't as good as the first one, but I really like the premise and the series overall, so I can't wait to read the next one. Good thing they're released almost back to back!

Hunting Lila (Lila #1) by Sarah Alderson

A Need So Beautiful (A Need So Beautiful #1) by Suzanne Young (audiobook)
Head Rush (The Disillusionists Trilogy #3) by Carolyn Crane (audiobook - I love audible.com!)
*Of course I already listened to it and.... whoa! It was quite a ride! Can't wait to read the book, or the ebook, whichever comes out first!

And a big THANK YOU to NetGalley and HarperCollins! You are the best!<3

Hallowed (Unearthly #2) by Cynthia Hand

Incarnate (Newsoul #1) by Jodi Meadows

Everneath (Everneath #1) by Brodi Ashton

Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi

Obsidian (Lux #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout
*Thank you Entangled Pub!

OMG! I'm so excited about these books! I wasn't expecting them quite so soon *happy dance* and I have no idea what to read first. Suggestions?:D

In My Mailbox #10: The AH-MAZING! edition

Hey!

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi @ The Story Siren and inspired by Alea @ Pop Culture Junkie, where we share the books we got in the mail the previous week.

So this should be part 2 of that long overdue IMM post. It's a few weeks worth of books and I think it's the best haul yet! So many amazing books (most of the books I already read/listened to got 5 stars!)
*Links send to Goodreads

(Finally! Yes, there was a lot of squealing and book petting involved when I got it.
The cover is gorgeous in person and the book was indeed mind blowing.
My favorite debut of the year so far!)
