To celebrate the upcoming release of the movie The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 1 (Zori de zi) in our Romanian theaters, Rao Books has graciously offered a set of  Breaking Dawn (Zori de zi, Twilight #4) AND The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner (Noua si scurta viata a lui Bree Tanner, Twilight #3.5) by Stephenie Meyer to give away on the blog to one lucky reader. 

The Twilight craziness started in our country when RAO published the first book in the series years ago, and they did an amazing job promoting it over the years. Great translations, beautiful hardcovers, timely releases, fun meetings, giveaways, interviews, etc. I'm so very grateful for that because yes, I'm one of those people who got into reading lots of (paranormal) books, blogging and everything because of the Twilight Saga and the series couldn't have been in better hands! I will admit that I'm very excited (and maybe a bit nervous) about the movie and I think I will re-read the last book in the series before the big release and if you want to read it too but you don't have it on your shelf, here's your chance to get it:

Favorite Movies Of 2010

Hello again!

Well... When I first thought about this Top 5 feature I never imagined it would get so hard to pick my favorite 5 things, moments etc of 2010. It's been a long year, with lots of events that brought me joy - or on the contrary. I've done a lot of thinking these days... Spending time in my hometown always gets me into the 'meditation-mode". :)) All in all, it's been a good year, with a lot of changes. Initially I also wanted to write about favorite moments, inside jokes, parties but I figured they wouldn't make much sense here - without some details. I'll share them with my close friends though. :))

Ok, enough with the touchy-feely stuff. And because I was trying to find a good movie to watch with my sister tonight - I had enough of Christmas movies - I thought today I'd post my Top 5 Favorite Movies of 2010. This time it was impossible to stick to 5. I did try to stay under 10 though. :))

My favorite movies of 2010 (again, in no particular order): 

• Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time 
• Inception
• Eclipse (Twilight Saga) 
• Remember Me
• Alice in Wonderland 
• The Sorcerer's Apprentice 
• Letters to Juliet 
• Dear John 
• The Runaways
