In the Community, there is no more pain or war. Implanted computer chips have wiped humanity clean of destructive emotions, and thoughts are replaced by a feed from the Link network.
When Zoe starts to malfunction (or "glitch"), she suddenly begins having her own thoughts, feelings, and identity. Any anomalies must be immediately reported and repaired, but Zoe has a secret so dark it will mean certain deactivation if she is caught: her glitches have given her uncontrollable telekinetic powers.
As Zoe struggles to control her abilities and stay hidden, she meets other glitchers including Max, who can disguise his appearance, and Adrien, who has visions of the future. Both boys introduce Zoe to feelings that are entirely new. Together, this growing band of glitchers must find a way to free themselves from the controlling hands of the Community before they’re caught and deactivated, or worse.
In this action-packed debut, Glitch begins an exciting new young adult trilogy.
Trailer:
Eek! Last year I was weary and skeptical about Dystopian novels, but lately I've read a few very good ones and I'm getting more and more excited about this genre with every new release! And Glitch is one I can't wait to read this year (argh! late summer release)! Sounds awesome, don't you think? ;)
Also, I love the cover! I love the overall colors and the font used for the title, with all those little effects! <3 Must have it on my shelf ASAP!

About Me
- Deea
Just a twenty-something crazy girl who can't live without coffee, music and books.
I read almost all genres, from Fantasy and Paranormal Romance to Dystopia and Psychological Thrillers. My favorites are New Adult Contemporary (my latest obsession) and Urban Fantasy (I always enjoy books with things that go bump in the night, wit, action and kickbutt heroines).
I fill my Journal pages with everything related to my book obsession (news, interviews, guest posts, reviews, special features etc).

Oh can I say I'm in love with the cover? I like Dystopian but not too many please... I still prefer a good paranormal story I have to say.
But, there really a lot of really awesome Dystopians out there and this one seems like one of the good ones (we hope) :))
@Danny Hehe, yup, I'm in love with the cover too! Usually I prefer paranormal books as well, but my latest paranormal reads kind of let me down.:( And thankfully there are lots of good Dystopians to choose from!:D Can't wait for Glitch!<3
The cover is very beautiful indeed.
The only Dystopian trilogy I've read so far is The Hunger Games. I really loved it. So, I think I'm going to try more Dystopian novels in the future.
About this book... the action doesn't sound like anything new. I've seen two or three movies having the same theme. But I do agree with the telekinetic powers. :D I love the idea since I read Stephen King's Carrie. I think it's my favourite kind of power. So, I think I'll give this book a shot. And if the writing is good, I'm sure I won't be dissapointed.
@Jo.hanna I read The Hunger Games too and I loved it, but surprisingly, it wasn't that series what made me love Dystopians. Try Shatter Me, Divergent, Legend...
I love telekinetic powers too! And maybe the theme of Glitch is not that new, but I would love to read about that kind of action - must be more interesting that it is in the movies!:D
I do have Divergent on my to-read list and I've read about Shatter Me. I'll give it a try after I'm finished with the stupid exam session. :) My to-read pile has become so big that it scares me.
Thank you for your recommentations!
