As my friends often say, I think too much. :) Yup, for me, every situation turns out more complicated that it is. Because I tend to analyze everything, all the details, to speculate, to balance the pros & cons etc. I know, not such a great and practical idea. Still, this is me.
And speaking of this over-thinking, it's easy to report some events to Murphy's Laws. Thus, here are some of the most common laws:
- If anything can go wrong, it will (at the most inopportune time).
- Left to themselves, things tend to go from bad to worse.
- If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.
- Smile . . . tomorrow will be worse.
- Nothing is as easy as it looks.
- You will always find something in the last place you look.
- Just when you think things cannot get any worse, they will.
- Remember the "Boomer-rang" effect; Whatever you do will always come back.
- Any time you put an item in a "safe place", it will never be seen again.
- Traffic is inversely proportional to how late you are, or are going to be.
- Chaos always wins, because it's better organized.
- When you wear new shoes for the first time, everyone will step on them.
- All the good ones are taken.
- If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.
- Doing it the hard way is always easier.
- No matter what goes wrong, there is always someone who knew it would happen and enjoys saying "I told you so".
